💡 Use browser extension scripts to auto-add offers to your credit card

TIL you can can find useful GreaseMonkey/TamperMonkey scripts to automatically add offers to my credit cards when I log in to Chase or American Express, rather than having to manually do it (which I just end up not doing). It’s not gonna be a huge money maker, but it’ll probably save me $10-20/yr without any effort on my part.

Only missing benefit is I would want to be able to search offers without having to log in to 5 places. If I’m thinking about doing a specific purchase, i want to know if any of my cards have that specific merchant. That’s probably more valuable than the passive “hope it catches a merchant I bought from anyway” approach.

CardPointers paid service does this, but i don’t want everything else they offer. Maybe I can add some sort of beacon that the scripts can call out to when they add a new offer to my card with the details? Another project to for the backlog.
